1. How will I know if I’m accepted? You will receive an acceptance letter upon approval of application & necessary forms.
2. Do I have to take the ACT / SAT to get into SBC? Yes, you need to take one test, but not both. Please send have the test administrator send the scores directly to the College Offices.
3. Is there a minimum score on the ACT / SAT to guarantee entrance into SBC? Not necessarily... Being a student at SBC is a privilege and not a right. Each student’s situation is different. When we receive your information, we will make the decision.
4. How soon should I enroll? You can enroll by mailing or faxing an application back to the College Offices. You may obtain an application by mail, email, internet, or fax.

6. What makes SBC unique from other colleges? The Internship Program is an on-the-job, hands-on, experienced-based credit program designed to involve students in church ministries and with personal interaction with church staff. This program is designed to compliment - not supplement - classroom academia.

10. How long are semesters at SBC? Semesters last sixteen weeks at Shawnee Baptist. For each credit hour, the student will spend at least fifteen hours in classtime and is recommended to spend nearly that much in homework. J-Term classes are summer & interim classes scheduled in modular style that include fifteen hours per credit hour.
11. Does SBC accept homeschoolers? Yes, of course. We welcome students from all types of schools. Shawnee Baptist College does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin, sex, age, or handicap in administering its educational policies and school-sponsored programs.
